What Data We Collect
- Name — to identify your booking
- Phone number (optional) — to contact you about your appointment
- Appointment details — date, time, service selected, and any notes
Why We Collect It
We process your data under legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) to manage appointment bookings and provide our barbershop services. We do not use your data for marketing or share it with third parties.
How We Store It
- Your data is stored securely in a database hosted by Supabase in the EU (London region)
- Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (HTTPS)
- Access is restricted to the barbershop owner via PIN and biometric authentication
- All data access is logged for audit purposes
How Long We Keep It
Appointment records are automatically deleted after 2 years. Contact information is kept until you request its removal.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete all your data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
